The source of data in the system refers to the statistic results in the “Annual Report on Indigenous Peoples’ Population and Health”. The data herein cover the Taiwan & Fukien Area. All indigenous peoples in the metropolitan areas, mountains and plains in a total of 22 cities/counties including 20 counties/cities of Taiwan, and 2 counties of Fukien Province, namely Kinmen County and Lienchiang County. The “indigenous peoples” referred to herein mean those already registering the identity as indigenous people in the household offices governed by the Council. Notwithstanding, the “non-indigenous peoples” referred to general nationals other than those registering their identity as indigenous people throughout the nation. The so-called “By Urbanization” refers to the areas of mountains, plains and metropolitan (namely, the township/city/district other than the areas of indigenous peoples).
